90 licensed affiliates in 54 countries. The Educational Institute also has an official office located in India, and holds exclusive Hospitality Education Program (
HEP) license agreements in 45 countries connecting the Educational Institute's research and expertise to hospitality operations throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. AHLEI's

Board of Trustees
AH&LA board consists of 83 members. In addition, the following organizations are non-voting members, but important advisors to the AH&LA board: Hospitality Financial & Technical Professionals (HFTP), Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), and the National Restaurant Association (NRA).
